*You MUST be a Level 1 Coach to attend the Level 2 Certification
What's New with Level 2
The Camp4 Performance Level 2 Certification builds upon the strong foundation established in Level 1, where coaches learned the fundamentals of performance training, injury awareness (particularly in youth climbers), and the essential skills of an in-person professional coach—program execution, communication, adaptability, and leadership.
Level 2 takes a significant step deeper. This course explores the “why” behind performance training and adaptation—the underlying physiological changes and why they occur. Coaches will learn how tendons remodel and strengthen, how muscles develop force and endurance, and how energy systems interact to sustain climbing performance. Through this scientific lens, the course connects theory to application, showing coaches how to integrate these principles into advanced, structured training systems tailored for developing youth athletes.
By the end, coaches will not only understand the what and how of effective training—but the why—allowing them to design and implement science-based, individualized programs that maximize performance, enhance resilience, and promote long-term athletic development in climbers.

Read MoreAs a self-taught v9 climber with a background in competitive swimming, I understand what I can do to push and make myself stronger. I have also been coaching informally for other climbers but never to the extent of creating formal training plans. It was never an area I was comfortable recommending due to my lack of professional training and experience. This course gave me the practical and theoretical information I was lacking. The course filled the gaps in my knowledge and Coach Collin answered every one of my questions while also pushing me to think about more and better questions so that I could provide better information for my athletes. This course is 100% worth the time and investment if you are looking to become a more well-rounded and better climbing coach.
